Since that day in 2019, I’ve partnered with 12 growth stage founders and worked
beside them to help them navigate the chaos of their businesses.

The commitment that founders make is unique and I lived it for almost 2 decades.
Being able to help founders convert this commitment into amazing outcomes fills
me with purpose everyday.

The best part is that I’ve been able to help. The operating system I used to run my
businesses has worked almost universally across different industries. And for those
that stick with it, the results speak for themselves. Ideas and innovation create the
opportunity for greatness – but it’s strategy and execution that builds companies
and here are 3 outcomes I’m proud of:

75% revenue growth in 3 years (ARR is 9 figures)
520% revenue growth in 2 years (ARR went from 7 figures to mid 8 figures)
1538% revenue growth in 4 years (ARR went from 7 figures to 9 figures)

Want to know how we did it? Here’s how it works.

Supporting Great Leaders across Categories

James has been a phenomenal coach who prepared me to play in the big leagues. James was immediately able to identify and point out the potential in me as a leader and the organization I founded. He helped me to understand that a passive knowledge of finance and budgeting would not be sufficient for where the organization was headed. Our coaching sessions initially focused on understanding our financials and how to develop our business plan for scale. This knowledge and practice transformed me from a consumer of my organization’s financial status to an active creator and discerning analyst. James supported me in a critical time of Urban Alchemy’s growth, helping us to expand from $10 million to over $70 million in revenue in just 4 years.

The next major hurdle that James helped me to overcome was devaluing my own time, creativity, and leadership as the creator of what is now almost a $100 million, national organization. Like most organizations founded and run by women and people of color, we often are locked into a mindset of wanting to be validated or acknowledged and settling for less than we are worth. James worked with me to see how limiting this thinking was, not only for myself, but also as a trickle-down effect for all others who worked for the organization who would be impacted by my low self-worth. James coached me to understand my worth and the value I am creating as a CEO. He helped me negotiate with my Board of Directors for a salary that was more than double what I had been making. This had the trickle-down effect of significantly increasing everyone’s salary and wage in the organization; ensuring we attracted and maintained the best talent to continue to grow our mission.

Now, James is helping me develop a strategy and 5-year vision for Urban Alchemy that will change the way the world thinks about community care.

Hired by new shareholders to rapidly scale our 9-figure logistics business in 5 years amid a pandemic, I brought in James for strategic advice and OKR implementation. What I got was a partner to help shape tough decisions and to help me champion the discipline and urgency we needed to be successful. Now, 4 years later, we’re on track to our goals, operating seamlessly with a clear system, and have set a new vision to double again in 5 years. James’ long-term thinking and commitment to realizing my vision for NLS have been invaluable.

Swift is a medtech company and competes in a number of healthcare verticals with market leading wound treatment solutions. James was recommended by one of our shareholders to help build out GTM and establish a framework for growth. US Healthcare is not easy. James got up to speed almost immediately and worked with me to reshape our GTM plan, budget and teams going into a new year within a few weeks. James’ style is to roll his sleeves up, understand the vision and then to go to war with you. Within 6 months, we worked together to raise a $35M USD series B and had put the company on a trajectory to scale. If you’re a founder, this is a guy you want in your corner.
